Becky, RVT
Head Registered Veterinary Technician
Growing up on a sheep farm south of Ottawa, Rebecca knew quickly she wanted to work with and be a voice for animals. Rebecca graduated from the Ridgetown College Campus, the University of Guelph with honours in May of 2000 and completed her national exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in June of that same year.
She had worked in general practice and in ICU at a local specialty/referral practice before joining Osgoode Veterinary Services in October of 2008. She quickly realized she had found a perfect fit and, in 2010, became the practice’s Head Technician. She enjoys all aspects of clinic life/duties but has particular interests in nutrition, dental health and palliative care. Her time away from work is spent with her husband Chris, and energetic son Marcus. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening and experimenting with photography. Recently Rebecca has had a three-legged, no tail cat named Emmy and a leopard gecko named Lizzie join her family.
